Recap of Week 1

SO I decided to create this blog, mostly because of Alissa Kroll, and so that I can give my twitter followers a break from all of my awesome tweets about Chicago.

But where to start?

My internship is amazing! So far something awesome has happened every single day. Monday involved mimosas at our 9:30am meeting and free lunch, Tuesday I was asked to help redesign the website, Wednesday I finally got into some design, Thursday I got a free Cubs hat.. so we'll see how today goes. So far its only me and 3 other people?... So I'll keep you posted.

Yesterday Chris and I wanted to go to the Art Museum, because Wednesday the security guard told us Thursday nights were free, which they're  NOT. But we started to walk down Michigan Ave and stumbled upon two free concerts in the park! Everyone should check out the band 'The Empty Pockets. They were awesome. 

And let's see... the only other amazing thing that I can remember from this week was riding top down on Lakeshore Drive at sunset. The city is sooo beautiful, especially with the sun setting behind the buildings. I do miss the sunsets over Lake Michigan, but hey, I almost get to see the sunrise.. so .. trade-off?
